Vision

The vision of the OCBC youth life is knowing Christ , growing in Christ and going with Christ

Youth Ministry

The OCBC Youth Ministry is a place where our children and families are loved, encouraged, challenged and strengthened as they grow in their faith. 

Goals

Our goal is to help our youth, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As part of the youth ministry we provide  them the resources to grow in worship, bind them with the Word of God and give them opportunities to witness and serve others.

Context

The church families provide a context for the healthy development of Christian values, identity and opportunities to develop positive relationships between adolescents and adult Christian role models. This goal challenges us to provide the meaningful participation that the youth require, to support family life, and to integrate young people into the life of the faith community.

In this world where everything is so open..be it about sex, money, drugs, its so hard to shelter ur children from harm unless its through prayer. 
Not only is parents advise enough..but the guidance of the youth teachers and I am so grateful for what our church provides. 


There were many times I felt I needed to leave the church to find somewhere better  coz Sharon was in a limbo between sunday school and sermons in tamil that she didnt understand..


Finally when the youth group started..it was such a blessing. 


I am so so grateful to Sudha and Nishal for the interest and effort and the hard work and the push they've given her to have come so far..
Not only do the youth sing and pray and preach..they do it in tamil too!!!


I was proud and grateful and humbled all at the same time today to see our children do so much!
